New photography website

So, I would really like to be spending more time on my photography and even *gasp* making money from it. In order to do that, I decided to create a dedicated space to showcase my photographic work. Okay, so it’s just a tumblr but I think it’s pretty cool. So you can find my photography at http://kittenrocket.tumblr.com/ from now on (there is also a link in the menu above). You can also check out even more KITTENROCKET-photography-goodness on Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/kittenrocket/. Now to continue scanning and archiving seven years worth of film photographs…

Prints and album downloads available!

As I mentioned earlier, I have been lucky enough to collaborate with super-talented singer-songwriter and Internet radio host David Newberry. Now, while David is on tour to promote his new album No One Will Remember You, limited edition prints of some art from the album will be available with an album download! Each digital print is acid-free, 8″ x 8″ and is signed and numbered by yours truly. And these beauties are going for only $15.00. Did I mention they come with a download of David’s amazing new album? Yeah!

You can contact David or I to purchase a print/download. Or you can come to my house on Sunday, April 1 to see David play live along with Sue Newberry and More Please! Send me an email if you want to come and I’ll give you the address…

Album art for the one and only Mr. David Newberry

I recently got the opportunity to create a bunch of album art for David Newberry’s new album, No One Will Remember You. This was an incredible honor as David is an amazing musician and this album is poignant, beautiful, and sums up a lot of how I feel being a young Canadian right now.

David’s currently touring in Canada and will be making a stop here in Montreal, in my very own living room, very soon!

We are also collaborating on a series of prints from the album art, to be sold with download codes for the album. Imagine how culturally efficient you could be buying a piece of art and music at the same time… Not bad, huh? More details on all of this to come. In the mean time, click here for more album art and click here for more album.

Things that never were

These images by Anne Hardy show spaces that are constructed only to be photographed and destroyed. They reference events that could have happened. I like them so much.
